    Overview of Al Qusais

One of Dubai’s oldest neighborhoods is Al Qusais. It is a region that is rich in culture, much like other older districts of Dubai. It has a large number of commercial buildings, including offices, warehouses, and residential units. The largest industrial development in the city, Al Qusais Industrial Area, is located in this neighborhood, which is located south of the Sharjah-Dubai boundary and north of Dubai Creek. In the northern part of the emirate, it is also one of the most sought-after neighborhoods for renting reasonably priced residential units.

The neighborhood is divided into the Al Qusais Residential Area and Al Qusais Industrial Area, two major sub-communities. These sub-communities are divided up even further into different zones. The Dubai-Sharjah border is where you’ll find the Al Qusais Industrial Area. It is possible to live comfortably and affordably in the neighborhood. Schools, parks, hospitals, and banks are all nearby and may be reached on foot. Furthermore, a quick commute is possible with public transportation. Nearby quick food businesses and eateries with reasonable prices are also readily available to locals.

    Transportation

The neighborhood excels in the practicality of public transit. The Green Line, one of the main lines for the Dubai Metro, has five stops in this here. In this development, there are metro stations at Stadium, Al Nahda, DAFZA, Al Qusais, and Etisalat. The rest of the region not served by the metro is serviced by a vast bus network that has been created by the Roads and Transport Authority.

It is to be noted that if you don’t live on the main road in Al Qusais, public transportation can be a problem. But you can always request one via the RTA app or upscale taxi apps.

    Supermarkets

Throughout the neighborhood, there are a lot of grocery stores and supermarkets. Al Maya Supermarket, Sunrise City Supermarket, and Hayat Al Madina Supermarket are just a few options for locals to choose from. Moreover, the enormous Lulu Hypermarket is also located in this neighborhood being right next to the Stadium metro station. It has its own food court, textile market, and other retail establishments within the hypermarket, and it is spread across two floors.

    Churches, Temples and Mosques

There are a few churches close to Al Qusais, including The International Baptist Church in Al Nahda and the Winners Chapel International Dubai in Al Garhoud. Both are conveniently positioned for people living in the industrial region. While mosques like Al Noor Mosque Dubai, Masjid Al Ansar, Al Islah Mosque, Burhani Masjid, and Salama Bint Ali Ahli Masjid are a few of the many mosques that can be found in Al Qusais. Additionally, Hindus can also find temples like the Swaminarayan Mandir Vasna Sanstha in Al Qusais neighborhood. The Shiva Temple, ShrinathJi Temple, and Shiridi Sai Baba Mandir in the Al Fahidi neighborhood, a 24-minute drive away, are additional Hindu temples in Bur Dubai and in close vicinity.

    Educational Institutes

Children have access to nurseries in the neighboring Al Twar neighborhood, including Deira Montessori Nursery, World Nursery, and British Orchard Nursery. While there aren’t many schools in the Al Qusais industrial region, some of the greatest schools are located there including the Westminster School, Apple International School, and Dubai Scholars Private School. There are also higher education options like Dubai International Academic City in a few minutes’ drive.

    Medical Facilities

There are numerous hospitals in Al Qusais that provide a range of healthcare services. One could visit Sparkle Dental Care, Dental Clinic, or Dentamax Clinic for dental difficulties. Residents can go to Zulekha Hospital, Grand Infinity Medical Center, Aster Clinic, Medicure PolyClinic, Al Rahif Medical Clinic, and Thumbay Hospital for general illnesses.

    Malls in Al Qusais

Numerous small and large retail establishments are situated in the neighborhood for the convenience of the locals. Al Mulla Plaza, one of the first shopping centres built in Dubai and regarded as a regional landmark, is located along Al Ittihad Road in the western corner of the Al Qusais Residential Area. Al Qusais is not far from Madina Mall, which is located in the neighboring Muhaisnah neighborhood just across Beirut Street. In addition to a few well-known stores like Redtag, Carrefour, and Pan Emirates, the shopping centre has a children’s play area, beauty shops, and a food court.

    Restaurants

The neighborhood is teeming with restaurants serving unique flavors from the subcontinent. Grill Hut Restaurant, Amrutha Restaurant, Al Zad Restaurant, Hill Palace Restaurant, Bangalore Empire Restaurant, China Wok Restaurant, Karachi Darbar Restaurant, and Delhi Restaurant are a few of these.

    Beaches

The Al Mamzar development, which is closest to Al Qusais and situated on the western coasts of Dubai and Sharjah, includes a number of beachside attractions.
